What can you do with god power? For one thing, you can send your hero to the Arena to fight another hero of similar level, at a cost of 75% of a full god power bar. A full god power bar can be banked to a "charge" reserve, up to 3 charges, and additional recharges can be purchased with Facebook credits. Unlike MW, the regeneration of god power seems to be somewhat random, with lulls of hours between spurts of recovery. The amount of interaction is limited by available "god power", a mechanic comparable to the energy and stamina bars in games like Mafia Wars. Unlike PQ, however, Godville does provide means of interaction. The character will proceed to engage in an endless series of quests join and leave guilds acquire, neglect, perhaps resurrect or replace pets die and be resurrected himself. In that context, let's look at the Godville app/game on (and off) Facebook: fantasy-themed like PQ, but aside from name and gender, there are no initial hero customization options. Hence, PQ is the classic and arguably pinnacle example of a "zero player game". More precisely, aside from initial choice of character "race" and "class", there is NO interaction it's strictly spectator. PQ is styled as a fantasy RPG that proceeds without human intervention. Amazingly, it's still kicking around, even branching out to evolving platforms such as the iPad and Chrome OS. I think it was ~9-10 years ago that ProgressQuest was a brief sensation in #e.
